Syncrolift Jetty Repair Concrete Remediation Completed for Namport

Concrete Repair Works to the Syncrolift Jetty in the Port of Walvis Bay, Namibia, have been completed by a team from Norfolk Marine Ltd & Hamunyela Civil Works & Building CC Joint Venture. This brings to an end a yearlong campaign of concrete repairs works undertaken within the Port.

Over 450 meters of Concrete Capping Beam were replaced during the contract along with extensive repairs to the Deck Soffit of Berths 4 to 8. The works were carried out utilising Hydro Demolition and Specialist Repair Mortars with a strong emphasis placed on skills transfer to local employees.
