Nairn Harbour Wall Repairs Completed

Norfolk Marine Ltd. have completed quay wall repair works to Nairn Harbour in Scotland. The contract for the Highland Council involved void repairs to the outer harbour wall. Norfolk Marine designed, supplied, and installed a fabric formwork underpinning system. The geotextile underpinning bags were tailor made to suit the size of the voids at the base of the quay wall. Once installed by our dive team, they were filled with concrete and then, once the concrete had cured for 12 hours, the temporary support system was removed completing the works. The project also called for resurfacing to areas of the tarmacadam deck.
