Port of Lome

Norfolk Marine Ltd has been awarded the contract to install the cathodic protection system to the newly constructed Container Berth at the Port of Lome in Togo by the Soletanche Bachy Sogea Satom EMCC Group. The works will consist of the wet welding of 742 anodes to the newly constructed steel combi pile wall.

We have mobilised our 42” decompression chamber and surface supply dive spread from our headquarters in County Donegal, using our logistics partners. The equipment will be met by our specialist team of wet welders on site in August.

This contract builds on the relationship formed with Soletanche bachy following the installation of the scour protection system at the Port of Cotonou, Benin, in 2011.
