The NORFOLK SWIFT is currently having its wheel house extended to increase its seating capacity from 8 to 12 passengers plus 2 crew. The work is being carried out by John Buckley and his team at Harbour Marine Services of Southwold Suffolk.
The new wheel house layout will allow for 12 individual mechanical suspension seats lap belts, arm and headrests for increased crew comfort and safety. On completion of the work the vessel is expected to resume its role as a fast response and crew transfer vessel in the offshore wind industry.
